Every so often we see a football site that draws a nod of admiration. The latest to elicit such a response is the excellent Football Filter, an RSS based news and content aggregator. http://footballfilter.com is the address – once there you can view football news categorised under broadsheets, tabloids, blogs, podcasts, and more, and you can search by club. And we’re featured on it which is always a plus…

Above is a screenshot – as you may or not be able to see, you have the categories followed by the individual sources (i.e. Broadsheets >>> The Telegraph, The Times, etc). It’s a great way to flick through the headlines/titles of multiple sites and sources and choose which articles catch your eye.

Another excellent function they are rolling out is club by club filtering – in beta at the moment (no Swindon, boo) those of you who support a decent side should be fine – you get all articles about your club, plus a flickr stream, podcasts, and no doubt more to come.

Think NewsNow but for football – and a much nicer layout. Football Filter is our new best friend.
