Scolari Sacked – The Word on the Web

By now you will know that ‘Big Phil’ Scolari has been relieved of his position at Chelsea, with Guus Hiddink on the verge of replacing him. Here is the official press release on Chelsea’s website.

But what do people think about this not-so-shocking development? We’ve trawled through various forums and messageboards to bring you the most interesting reaction… (much of this comes from the ever-excellent Football 365 Forum – which is now members only)

“To be fair they had to move fast once they heard Tony Adams was available”

“Some poor results recently tbf. Probably tolerted anywhere else but it was always a possibility”

“It’s Clarke they need. Matters less who the manager is I think”
