Fantasy Football: How we did: 27th/28th January

It was a great week for our picks; here’s how they got on…

1. Carlton Cole

11 points for the big man, with a goal, an assist, and two bonus points – only pipped to the MOM by his strike partner David Di Michele. Cole continues to be the best budget option available.

2. Frank Lampard

Not exactly a controversial pick, but Lampard delivered, with an assist, a clean sheet and a bonus giving him 7 points. He’s been the most consistent performer over the course of the season and should form the mainstay of most sides.

3. Aaron Lennon

Lennon has come bang into form in recent weeks and topped that off with a goal in Spurs’ 3-1 win over Stoke. This gave him 7 points in total.

So, 11,7,7 this week – the pressure is on to live up to that over the weekend. The fixtures look a lot harder then though… check back to see what we come up with.
