Arsenal 1 – 1 Liverpool

An absorbing, high tempo game ended honours even this afternoon, Arsenal and Liverpool battling out a one all draw at the Emirates. Despite the lack of clear cut chances, it was a fascinating, absorbing game, and there were two high quality goals first from Robin Van Persie, and then from the under-pressure Robbie Keane. Results and Fixtures

Already not-qualified Portsmouth won 3-0 in the UEFA Cup last night, whereas already qualified Aston Villa lost 3-1 (the one bright spot another goal from the immensely promising Nathan Delfuonso). Man Utd are playing at the moment in the World Club Cup – you can watch it live here.
