Both Prmerirhsip sides were dumped out of the Carling Cup last night, with Arsenal’s youngesters finding a trip up to freezing Burnley a step too far – losing 2-0 – and Stoke being turned over 1-0 at home by Derby.
The two games tonight see Man Utd take on Blackburn, and Spurs visit Watford. You would think there will be at least two Premiership side in the semi-final, then.
