Weekend Premiership Results and Scorers in Full

So… an interesting weekend of football. Utd and Chelsea won convincingly – 2-0 did not do either of them justice – Liverpool won stirringly, coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Man City, and Arsenal continued their recent erratic form, scraping a last minute draw against Sunderland on the back of a tremendous 4-0 win in Europe.

At the bottom, baffliingly, hilariously and somewhat unbelievably, Tottenham lost 1-0 at home to Hull. Its difficult to choose which is more suprising, the defeat for Spurs or the win for Hull. Newcastle came from two behind to snatch a draw against Everton, in a game between two teams low on confidence. Everton will wonder where their next win is coming from if they cannot hold onto a 2-0 lead at home to the Geordies.

And of the more inconsequential teams, Boro got a good win at home to Wigan, Portsmouth outclassed Stoke, and West Brom inflicted Fulham’s fourth consecutive defeat. Finally, a result that surprised me, Bolton winning 3-1 at West Ham. All results and scorers in full below:
