Midweek Preview

The first midweek game is tonight, with Newcastle taking on West Brom at St James. Expect goals aplenty there

newc+ +wb Midweek PreviewThe rest of the fixtures are tomorrow:

Wednesday, 29 October 2008

Bolton v Everton, 20:00

Fulham v Wigan, 19:45

Hull v Chelsea, 19:45

Man Utd v West Ham, 20:00

Stoke v Sunderland, 19:45

A packed evening of football, I for one am excited. It will be a good indicator of Liverpool as a genuine title force – after they beat Man Utd they followed up with a draw against Stoke. Can they follow victory over Chelsea with another three points against Pompey? After the departure of ‘Arry, you wouldn’t bet against them.

Chelsea will be anxious to bounce back from their first home defeat for four years and Hull could feel the consequences.

Can West Ham get something against Utd? Or Spurs against Arsenal? Before the weekend you would say no, but Utd’s potential stuttering and Spurs apparent resurgence under their new manager means neither are impossible.

Don’t miss MOTD tomorrow night…
