Chelsea are just the wrong side of evens for the Premiership titles. Two games, two wins. Five for, none conceded. Rock solid defence and keeper, Deco an artiste in centre mid, Lampard and Ballack either side of him, two world class strikers, not to mention Essien, Joe Cole, and the possible acquisition of Robinho – they just look so strong.
Compare that to Arsenal, a closely fought victory over WBA and then abject defeat to Fulham (looking at Arsenal’s team and squad I worry for them this season – I think they will be well adrift of top spot come the end of the season) and Liverpool – two gritty victories without looking good at any point – and Man Utd, ridden by injury and bereft of their talisman, held by Newcastle on the opening day – and evens seems a good price to me.
