I watched Marcus Trescothick smash a fantasic 50 from 20something balls yesterday for Somerset against Worcestershire. Such clean hitting, all round the wicket, with the minimum of bodily economy. Its such a shame he’s completely mental, because he is one of the best one day openers in the world.
This on the back of a magnificent 184 with a strike rate of 150 at the weekend… If only Michael Vaughan hadn’t slept with his wife…
